Praying for our Priests Ministry

“The Seven Sisters Apostolate is a call to strengthen the Church, by ensuring that a Holy Hour is prayed each day of the week for the sole intention of a specific priest or bishop – a “holy wasting” (cf.Mt.26:10) or lavishing of prayer for his deeper conformity to Christ. “

Please consider joining a new ministry of ‘Seven Sisters’ who offer prayer for one hour, one day a week, for our pastor, Fr. Murchadh O’Madagain

*Seven Sisters are needed. Each one commits herself to giving one holy hour of prayer, one day of the week, for their priest.

One Holy Hour, One Priest, Each Week, One Heart of Prayer

OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation for Adults)

Dear Friends,

My name is Fr. Murchadh O’Madagain and I am the Pastor at St. Vincent de Paul Church. I would love to share my faith with you and invite any of you who are not Catholic to come and listen to what our faith is about. If you were baptized and went no further, or if you were never baptized and are open to the idea of becoming a Catholic, please contact me so that I can tell you more about it. If we have enough people we will run a series of classes known as the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA), which is designed specifically for people who are interested in coming back to their faith or becoming a Catholic for the first time. The program begins in September and continues until the following Easter (usually April), when the candidates who are interested are baptized and received into the Church. For me personally, it is a program I have really enjoyed being part of, as I am passionate about our faith. Being able to share my faith with others who are interested is a joy. It always inspires me and everyone who has participated in this program seems to have the same experience.

If you or anyone you know, would be open to finding out more about this program, please contact me so that we can discuss it further. Tel: 239 693-0818 or by email: omadagain@stvincentftmyers.org

God bless,
Fr. Murchadh O’Madagain (Pastor)
