Today is the feast of the Holy Name of Jesus. The name Jesus (Jesh-u-ah, in Aramaic) means, ‘Who Saves’. We often use the name carelessly, but what name could be more wonderful than the name which won us eternal life in heaven, which is waiting for us.
On a different note, I just came a cross the current edition of Life magazine, which is completely dedicated to who Jesus was. I have only read bits of it, but the pictures alone are fascinating.
