Today’s first reading is one that you often hear read at weddings, and it is a really beautiful reading, from one of St.Paul’s letters to the Christians in Corinth. It finishes with the words, ‘In the end there are three things that last; faith, hope and love and the greatest of these is love.’ Our highest calling is to love and this is something all of us can do, no matter what our circumstances. To be love in the heart of our world, in the very circumstances in which we find ourselves, is how we bring God’s presence to the world.
Have a great day. Fr. Murchadh
