We are setting up a shoe drive, to help a couple in our parish pay for medical expenses for their sick daughter, which health insurance will not pay for. Their baby Eliana was born with a very rare genetic disorder called KAT6A and was born deaf and with several holes in her heart. She has had to undergo numerous surgeries throughout her short life and is currently dependent on a gtube feeding tube.
Shoes can be left at the parish office. An organization will pay a certain amount of money for the shoes by weight. The shoes are then sent to third world countries to help people start their own businesses.
If you wish to donate directly to the couple, you can also make checks payable to Susanne Obrcok and leave them at the parish office.
Thanks for your support.
